'Sustainable Design for a Greener Future'
Seagems is a Norwegian company dedicated to creating nutritious and sustainable flavoring solutions for global food production companies. By utilizing side streams from the seafood industry, Seagems provides locally produced and sourced ingredients that enhance food products while supporting environmental responsibility. With a focus on innovation and quality, Seagems is committed to providing natural, sustainable solutions that benefit both food manufacturers and the planet.
As a freelance designer, my latest project with Seagems involved creating 24 custom icons and designing a brochure for their newly launched pet food line. The icons were designed to reflect the company’s slogan of sustainability, featuring round and friendly shapes that convey an approachable feel. Bold lines were used to enhance readability, ensuring the icons were clear and easy to interpret, as per the client's requirements.
The brochure was designed with a focus on building trust, ensuring that viewers intuitively understand Seagems as a company that provides high-quality pet food while also being environmentally conscious. I incorporated the brand's colors and used animal imagery to evoke a sense of friendliness and approachability, reinforcing the positive image of Seagems as a company that cares for both animals and the planet.
